Journalistic communication:
- How to develop themes & titles in a catchy way;
- Legal aspects of free, independent publishing: Media laws and journalistic ethics;
Copyright for texts, photos, webs;
Digital technologies:
- How to handle advanced settings of a digital camera;
- Advanced photo shooting techniques;
- Editing and enhancing photos digitally;
- How to administrate an own website;
- How to use web 2.0 applications for citizen journalism;
Publishing:
- Publishing texts & photos on the web;
- Publishing in web 2.0 (blogs, etc.);
The used software will be exclusively free ware and open source applications which
are legally accessible and will be provided to each participant.
Target group:
- People from all ages (18-80) interested in new media and journalism, wishing to
learn technical skills and digital publishing methods;
- Persons who feel the need to spread their opinions and ideas;
- Disadvantaged learners and people with fewer oportunities;
- People working or interested in combating social/economical/political, ethnical
or gender disadvantages, interested in humanitarian & European concerns or equal-opportunity-issues;
